Vehicle Economics deals in numbers people are usually careful with: loan balances, what they still owe, what they earn. Here is exactly what happens to them.

My Garage: what it saves and where

My Garage exists so you don't retype your vehicle, loan, and driving numbers on every engine. It saves nothing until you explicitly choose to, the first calculation on every engine works with no data saved anywhere. When you do save something, it goes into your browser's own local storage on your own device, not a database this site controls. Open the My Garage page any time to see exactly what's stored, forget a single vehicle, or clear everything.

How the math actually runs

Every calculation on this site, amortization schedules, equity projections, ownership cost, break-even solving, executes in JavaScript inside your browser tab. There is no request to a server carrying your loan amount or income to compute a result. That is a consequence of the architecture, not a policy choice that could quietly change: this site has no database and no server-side calculation code to send your numbers to.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics with every advertising signal denied, meaning it is never used to build an ad profile or target you across other sites. It records which page was viewed and general aggregate usage, never the dollar figures, loan terms, or driving numbers you enter into an engine, those never leave your browser (see "How the math actually runs" above). Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland get no analytics cookie at all, analytics runs cookieless there rather than asking for consent. Global Privacy Control is honored everywhere: if your browser sends it, analytics storage is denied for you regardless of region.
